This article contains instructions on how to add the third-party app, IMRE Chatbot, to your myRealPage website. Please note that it will involve signing up for an account with an external vendor.

1 - On the IMRE website:


  • Head over to IMRE.ca and select a plan.
  • A. Click on the Get Started button.



2 - On the sign up page:

  • A. Enter your personal details in the fields provided. Please make sure that the mobile phone number that you provide is able to receive texts/SMS. 
  • B. Enter your Listing URL. This is where the chatbot will get information about your listings from. 
  • C. Click on the Continue button.



3 - Creating Your Chatbot:


  • A. Assign a name for your new chatbot. 
  • B. Select US or Canada from the drop down menu. 
  • C. You will now be getting a designated phone number for your chatbot. Choose how you would like to search for available phone numbers, and enter the name of the closest major city to you. 
  • D. Click on the Search button.



4 - Getting a phone number:


  • A. After clicking Search in the previous step, you will be presented with a list of available phone numbers that you can assign to your chatbot. Click on the one you would like to use.



5 - Finishing Up


  • A. Once you are satisfied with your chatbot's details, click on the Continue button.



6 - Payment and Sign Up Completion:

  • A. Enter your bank card details. 
  • B. Add a tick mark to the Terms of Service box.
  • C. Click on the Create Bot button.

• Pairing up your IMRE chatbot with your Facebook account •

1 - On your mobile phone:

After completing the sign up process on the IMRE website, you will recieve a text from the chat bot you just created (in this example, the chatbot has been named "Samuel").

  • A. After completing the sign up process on the IMRE website, you will recieve a text from the chat bot you just created. Reply to it with the word "Menu".

  • B. Once it replies, reply back to it again with the number "1".


  


2 - Confirming pairing with Facebook

  • A. Confirm that you would like the chatbot to answer your Facebook Page messages.
  • B. Request for a verification link to be sent via email.


  


3 - Check your Email:

  • A. After making your selections via mobile in the previous step, check your email inbox. Once you have received the email from IMRE, click on the link provided. This link will take you to Facebook.



  


4 - Logging into Facebook.

  • A. Click on the Continue as [Your Name] button, and finish logging into Facebook.


  


5 - Authorize the chat bot:

  • A. After you're logged in to Facebook, navigate to your Facebook Page, and click on Settings.
  • B. Once you're on the Settings page, look to the left sidebar and click on Messenger Platform.
  • C. Once the Messenger Platform page opens, scroll down and locate the section labeled Whitelisted Domains. Enter your website's URL in the space provided.
  • D. Click on the Save button.

• Finding your Facebook Page ID •

1 - On your About Section:


  • A. Log in to your Facebook account and navigate to your Business Page. Go to your About section.
  • B. Scroll to the bottom of your About page to locate your Page ID.
  • Alternatively, you can use this online tool to grab your Facebook Page's Page ID.

• Adding your IMRE chatbot to your myRealPage website •

1 - Log in to Private Office:

  • A. Enter the URL private-office.myrealpage.com
  • B. Enter your username (the email address you used when signing up).
  • C. Enter your password (which you chose during the sign-up process).
  • D. Click Login.


2 - From the Dashboard:

  • A. Click the Website tab.
  • B. Click All Web Pages.



3 - On the Left Sidebar:

  • A. In the Settings section, click on Advanced Settings.



4 - On the Advanced Settings Page:


  • A. In the text box labeled Custom content in the <head> section, paste in the following code:

  • B. In the text box labeled Custom content before closing </body> tag, paste in the following code. Please remember to replace the text "YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE ID" in the code with your own Facebook Page ID in quotation marks!
